Kendall Jenner learned the hard way on Sunday night's (Nov. 6) Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode that being a world-famous model comes at a price. In her case, it meant continued battles with anxiety and sleep paralysis.

Jenner noted in the episode that she'd been experiencing strange phenomena during sleep in which her mind would be alert, but her body would remain immobile. She said she looked up her symptoms online, and came up with an answer as to what was plaguing her:

"Recently I wake up in the middle of the night and I can't move," she said, before self-diagnosing herself with sleep paralysis. "It's so scary when it happens. You feel like you're never gonna get out of it."

Kendall explained her condition to sister Kim Kardashian, who'd been suffering through her own battle with anxiety. Kim was empathetic, and offered Kendall support and understanding. A little bit less empathetic was Jenner's mother, Kris Jenner, who insisted Kendall honor her professional obligations overseas, even though Kendall plead for a break to recoup.

"I'm scared to fall asleep because it keeps happening," Kendall admitted. "It's almost like my heart stops."

"The nature of what you do for a living and your career is flying around the world," Kris said. "You have designers that already booked you and are counting on you to show up."
