KFFM First Listen – Miley Cyrus “Malibu” [VIDEO]

Miley Cyrus has a new song and it's not what you'd expect and you'll be hearing it a lot on KFFM in the future so here is a first listen...

The new song is called "Malibu" and it's radically different then her previous singles.

I think we are hearing mature introspective lyrics that we haven't heard from Miley and I think it's a giant leap forward in her artistry.

The song was inspired by a break up with current fiance Liam Hemsworth.

Miley is quoted in Billboard magazine on her thoughts about the new track

"I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard. Suddenly you're like, 'I don't recognize you anymore.' We had to re-fall for each other," she said in a candid interview with Billboard.
