Would you try something called "Guava Balls" or "Scorched Rice Candy?" These brave youngsters did with some expected, and unexpected, results.

It's interesting to see what is considered candy in other parts of the country.

We, in America, usually think of candy as something with too much sugar that is processed with artificial colors and flavors. That's true for other parts of the world but some places, like Mexico, use spices in their candy to give it a kick. Other parts of the world may just use candied fruits which, in every essence, is still considered candy.

Very interesting.

Now, please pass me the salsagheti.
