Lil Wayne continues to face difficulties with his health. The rapper had another seizure and was treated at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles late Tuesday night (April 30).

After an overnight stay, he was released late Wednesday morning, TMZ reports. The rapper tweeted, “I'm fine. Thank u,” to confirm his wellness to his followers.

The media has been watching Wayne’s health closely since he was hospitalized for six days back in March for suffering from multiple seizures.

When TMZ first broke the news about the ‘I Am Not a Human Being’ creator’s severe condition, they falsely reported that he was on his death bed. Those close to Weezy blasted the gossip news site for the fabricated story. Many also speculated that his health condition was tied to overdosing on codeine.

“It’s his work ethic,” the rapper's mentor Birdman explained in an interview on Hot 97's Angie Martinez show. “[It's] how hard he works. How much dedication he gives to music, to his fans, and what he’s trying to accomplish in life.” He also added, “It has nothing to do with drugs, just how he works.”

Soon after being released in March, Wayne said that he has always been an epileptic and that he had seizures before, unbeknownst to the public.
