Check out new music from 'Call Me Maybe' singer, Carly Rae Jepsen, and 'Fireflies' artist, Owl City...

A few days ago we told you all about newest “It-girl” Carly Rae Jepsen’s collaboration with Owl City on a new single called ‘Good Time.’ We only had an 18-second sneak peek of the track then, but now, we have the entire song!
For those who can’t get ‘Call Me Maybe’ out of their head, we’re sorry to say that ‘Good Time’ won’t be any easier to forget. The catchy tune will be available for digital download on June 26, so prepare yourselves to add this to your list of summer’s hottest songs.

We’re digging the production value of this song, though, thanks to Owl City’s Adam Young, who has perfectly synthesized the song enough to get your foot tapping along to the beat, despite your best efforts.

Lyrically though, the song offers next to nothing. It’s repetitive and cliche, and we had the song memorized half way through. With a chorus that consists of, “Whoa-oh-oh-oh, it’s always a good time. We don’t even have to try, it’s always a good time,” it’s hard not to catch on to it and sing along almost immediately. But hey, it’s summer, and all we care about is a really good fun, poppy song.
