Lunching It Up at Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar at Valley Mall [VIDEO]

When someone asks if you'd like to join them at Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar for lunch, it's only suitable to respond with the question, "How soon can we make this happen?" Twigs is one of our favorite places in the area with so many good things on the menu and to be joined by some other radio personalities from various radio stations, I knew I was going to be in for a fun time.

I was joined by Rik, Michele and Cefus from 92.9 The Bull and Todd from 94.5 KATS. The welcoming atmosphere, comfortable seating which provided leg room for a tall guy like myself and a vast menu, I wouldn't wait to dive right in.

There were far too many great items on the menu that I wanted to order. Enough to keep me coming back. I need to try one of the pizzas next time but, for today, I had to get the Crab Macaroni and Cheese. The video shows what everyone else got as well. Everything looked fantastic!

The kicker was the desert. We didn't even have a chance to look at the menu before Michele shouted, "drunken donuts!" Sounds good to me! It turns out they were fresh, warm donut holes that you dunk in liquor-based sauces. The alcohol is cooked out so they're all kid-friendly. Those are a must-have every time I go back, now. One of those instances where it happens once and everyone agrees it's a new tradition.
