‘March for Babies’ Event in Richland Raises $135,000

500 people joined in support of March for Babies and helped raise more than $135,000. Great job!

State Director Jean Allenbach with the March of Dimes Washington Chapter:

“We’ve seen how important it is to help our babies. It is so rewarding to be part of a community where people come together for such a great cause. This has been an incredible event, and I am so proud of what we have accomplished here together today.”

The money raised go towards research, awareness, education and the local community to ensure healthy babies.

Nearly half a million babies each year are born prematurely which leads to a greater disability or fatality rate. March of Dimes is doing what they can to increase research funding, awareness and provide info to families in need.
