Mariners Install Biggest Video Screen In Baseball

The Seattle Mariners are making BIG changes at their home, Safeco Field, this off season. Besides moving the outfield fences in (anywhere between four and 17 feet) to make the park more friendly to batters, the M's announced today that they will also make trips to the yard more fan-friendly by installing the largest video screen scoreboard in M.L.B.

The photo above depicts what the 201' x 57' (11,425 sq. ft.) HD screen will look like when completed.  The Dallas Cowboys have a slightly larger one at their stadium.

It will be TEN TIMES bigger than the one currently used and will be the equivalent of, get this...  2,182  42-inch flat-screen TVs!
