Mr. Rogers Defends PBS

There's a reason why PBS is always running telethons - they're in constant need of your support. In the recent debate Mitt Romney said he's like to cut funding to allow for that money to be allocated somewhere else. Some people were shocked when Mitt said this, but he wasn't the first to bring up this idea. Nixon proposed this back in the late 60s. One of the first to step up and plead keeping the station was our good friend, 'Mr.' Fred Rogers.
