New Texting Terms Your Kids are Using that You Should Know

It all started when Tigger announced 'TTFN' to his friends in the 100-Acre Woods that people learned you could abbreviate phrases and it all went downhill from there. For a while everyone was using lol for 'laughing out loud' but then more and more phrases started popping up, many of them a secret code so kids could chat with their friends without their parents knowing what they were doing. According to the Bark Blog they found some new texting codes that kids have started using in recent days. Many are new as of this year.

Here are just a few.

1174 – Meet At A Party Spot
53X – Code For Sex
99 – Parents Are Gone
9 & CD9 – “Code 9”, Parents Are Around
CU46 – See You For Sex
GNOC – Get Naked On Cam
KMS – Kill Myself
KYS – Kill Yourself
LH6 – Let’s Have Sex
PAL – Parents Are Listening
SMH – “Shaking my head,” meaning “I don’t believe it” or “that’s so dumb”
WTTP- Want to Trade Pics?
WUF – Where You From?
