This Mom’s Angry Reaction to Hearing Nicki Minaj’s “Only” Goes Viral

Nicki Minaj isn't for everyone, especially not this middle-aged white mom.

While hanging out with her in the kitchen, 19-year-old Dominic Liccardi played his mom Minaj's sexually-charged "Only" for the first, and likely last, time. As Minaj starts rapping about a threesome with Lil Wayne and Drake, the teen's mom yells out, with horror, "No!" Once Nicki openly raps about getting her "ass ate like a cupcake," the mom can't take it anymore.

Since being posted to social media, the eight-second clip has been retweeted close to 7,000 times and has been looped on Vine nearly 1.7 million times and counting.

"Her reaction to her going viral has been a bunch of 'oh my's' and 'are you serious,'" Licciardi told Buzzfeed.

This is the second time in the past month a video featuring a Nicki Minaj song has gone viral. On Jan. 13, Adele joined The Late Late Show's James Corden for his popular "Car Pool Karaoke" segment. While riding along, Corden told the superstar singer that he heard she was a skilled MC. "I'm not talented on my own," the pop icon responded before rapping along to every word from Minaj's standout "Monster" verse. Looking like a true pro, Adele nails the verse and closed out with an emphatic "I'ma muthafuckin' monster!"

Nicki praised Adele on social media when she saw the clip tweeting, "Adele is mad ratchet. I can't take her." Perhaps an Adele and Nicki Minaj chart-topper is in our future.
