Best Places to Meet-Up for Trades and Swaps in Yakima

Thanks to the ever-growing trade groups on Facebook as well as Craigslist, when it comes to businesses, you have to eventually meet up in person, but where? I'm not going to go to your house and I'm absolutely not going to tell you where I live, so where should we meet to make the sale or make the exchange? Here are a few good places in Yakima.

Nob Hill Plaza
Nice, central location no matter where you live in Yakima. Big parking lot and easy access.

Rosauers
Same as above. Easy to access. Best for West Valley pick-ups.

Target
Like before, but for East Valley pick-ups.

Any bank parking lot
Why? Lots of security cameras.

Starbucks
Because everyone goes to Starbucks. Any Starbucks will do.

Here are a few tips when picking a location to meet up.

Make sure it's well lit, even in the day.

If it has to be at night, meet underneath a well-lit sign.

Most places have security cameras. Make sure you do this in front of them.

If I'm buying, I only bring exactly enough as we agreed upon.

Never meet at their home.

Never, ever meet at your home.

Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but better safe than sorry. I've only made a few deals via Facebook and Craiglist locally and have always had a pleasant experience. I don't want anything to go wrong.
