While Rihanna recuperates from her birthday activities earlier this week, she can rest assured that her neighbors back in Southern California are keeping an eye on things at her home.

Friday morning, news broke that an intruder was spotted at Rihanna's home in the Pacific Palisades. According to reports from TMZ, the man was discovered trespassing on the property that he believed belonged to the pop singer.

He'd gotten past the front door and was nosing around the home when the neighbors noticed that something was awry. In an act of swift vigilantism, the bystanders apprehended the intruder and called the police.

Once the police arrived, they arrested the man for burglary.

Funny enough, the intruder can't even claim having gone to the right house -- he had broken into the home next door.
