Robin Thicke is currently one of our finest R&B vocalists and he showcased his crooning skills with his soulful cover of Icona Pop's 'I Love It' on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge.

If you're not familiar with Icona Pop's 2012 electro-pop hit, it's a girl power anthem about kicking an inattentive lover to the curb. Think of it as a turnt-up version of Beyonce's 'Irreplaceable.'

"You're so damn hard to please / We got to kill this switch / You're from the '70s and I'm a '90s bitch," goes one of the verses in the song.

However, Thicke turns the effort into a tender love ballad. He even keeps the original lyrics except for flipping the last line, “I’m from the ’70s and you’re a ’90s chick."

The 'Blurred Lines' singer took Icona Pop's song and made it all his own. It's an amazing performance of soul and grace.

Robin Thicke's upcoming album, 'Blurred Lines,' will arrive in stores on July 30.
