Russell Simmons isn't here for any of Donald Trump's BS.The media mogul recently clapped back at the Donald who tried to demand an apology from the popular musical Hamilton after his Vice President elect Mike Pence was booed while attending a recent showing.

Pence got a not so warm welcome when he attended a showing of the popular musical on Friday (Nov. 19). The upcoming VP arrived to the show to a chorus of boos carried on by many of those in attendance. When he went to leave, it was much of the same. We wonder why?

Following the show, Hamilton released a statement about Pence's presence and what transpired. "We sir, are the diverse America who is alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protects us," it reads in part. "We truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and work on behalf of all of us. All of us."

Of course, Trump had to throw in his two cents. "Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen," Trump wrote on Twitter. "The cast and producers of Hamilton, which I hear is highly overrated, should immediately apologize to Mike Pence for their terrible behavior," he added.

Russell Simmons, who has made it clear in the past that he does not think highly of Trump's ethics, shot back at the President elect on Twitter typing, "@realDonaldTrump Apologize for challenging you to be President for all of America? Lol. It just a request."

In an interview today, Pence says he was not bothered by the actions of the crowd. "When we arrived we heard a few boos, we heard some cheers. I nudged my kids and said, 'That's what freedom sounds like,'" Pence said.
