Ryan Seacrest seems bent on world domination. In addition to having a radio show and regular hosting gigs on television programs like ‘American Idol’ and ‘E! News,’ he’s about to launch his own cable network.

The 36-year-old media mogul has joined forces with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, concert promoter AEG and top Hollywood talent agency Creative Artists Agency to revamp the existing HDnet channel into a venture called AXS TV, which will feature behind-the-scenes coverage of concerts, red carpets and awards shows.

In addition, Seacrest’s production company — the dubious brainchild behind the Kardashian reality show franchise — will develop and produce content for AXS TV

“We’ve been diligently working with our partners AEG and CAA to strategize and explore how we could deliver quality live entertainment and lifestyle programming to a large audience,” Seacrest said in a statement Wednesday. “HDNet is the perfect partner to help us translate our vision into a reality, giving us an instant reach into 35 million homes when we rebrand the channel and launch AXS TV.”
