What: Yakima Valley Children's Celebration

When: Sunday, December 13, 2015

Where: Hop Nation, 31 N 1st Avenue, Yakima WA, 98902

The Yakima Valley Children’s Celebration was created last year, and it served over 180 people, with an additional 120 people benefiting from leftover meals and toys!

This holiday program is an annual banquet for children of all ages to enjoy a tasty dinner, presents, cupcake decorating, holiday crafts, face painting, and a visit from Santa Claus. Anyone is welcome to sign up and coats are available for the kids that need them.

This event’s sole purpose is to celebrate and support children and youth of the Yakima Valley!

This year, the program plans to serve at least 300 children as well as accompanying adults. At least one child or youth must accompany adults who wish to participate in programming. The program is free to all!

The Children’s Celebration will take place Sunday, December 13th at 4pm at Hop Nation in downtown Yakima.

This year, a very generous donation was added to provide new coats to 600 children.

If you would like to donate prepared food or toys for gifts, please contact Sydnee Hurst, founder of the Yakima Valley Children’s Celebration, at Sydneehurst@gmail.com or 509-930-1126.
