Should We End the Practice of Playing the National Anthem Before Sporting Events Altogether? [POLL]

What with the recent kerfuffle surrounding the American flag and the "Star-Spangled Banner" at NFL games, I started to think that maybe we should end the practice of singing/playing the national anthem before sporting events altogether.
What other forums of entertainment do we do this at besides sports?
Plays?
Concerts?
Movies?
World Series of Poker?
Or, maybe, do like the Olympics and play the winning team's song of choice after the contest has been decided.
