How many times has this happened to you: You're waiting on a red light to turn left heading north on 40th and Summitview, Tieton or Nob Hill. Then, an 18-wheeler turns right, only it needs to make a wide, right turn, coming close to scratching your car or forcing you to back-up just so they can make that turn. Is this fair to you?

Nobody is more appreciative of truckers than I am. I have family members that used to or currently drive semi's for a living. They have the philosophy, "If you got it, a truck brought it!" and I agree. But maybe it would be nice if we had a set truck route to accommodate for everyone. I haven't heard of one accident yet, but I'm not saying that it hasn't happened. I'm also not saying it will never happen, but I am saying I would like it if it never happened.

So, what do you think? Should we have a truck route that all trucker who are delivering supplies or fruit or whatever in town know where to go. Or are they fine to make those wide turns. Sure, it may be a little scary sometimes, but cut them some slack. What do you think?
