Sir Mix-a-Lot was part of a 107.3 KFFM takeover where we played his songs while he hung out in the KFFM studios. He also took some callers. One caller asked how to get into the music businesses. Sir Mix-a-Lot explained how easy it is.

He explains, simply enough, that you're a walking, talking brand so grow an online following and that a guy like Sir Mix-a-Lot has no more power than anyone.
He didn't say you still have to be good at what you do, but if you're good enough to have fans on Facebook and Twitter, you have that much more to represent yourself.
