Hold tight, Sky Ferreira lovers. Your favorite synth-pop darling is coming back — and sooner than we know it.

Last night (November 15), the 26-year-old singer-songwriter formally confirmed in a brief announcement via Instagram that she's *finally* blessing us with new bops in the snowy season ahead. "This winter, it is official (!)," reads the enthusiastic, violin emoji-filled caption written beneath a blurry photo portraying a stunned Ferreira, mouth agape.

The LA-born artist previously seemed to tease a "special" project in a previous Instagram post the day before, writing, "Thanks Edwin 4 helping me make something ~special~ 🎻🎬I will never be the same because I’m going to wear pink eyeshadow for the rest of my life (lol)."

Despite issuing her debut LP, Night Time, My Time, to massive acclaim in 2013, the "Heavy Metal Heart" vocalist has yet to deliver her sophomore follow-up, Masochism, since she announced the record in April 2015.

Two years passed before she addressed the hold-up on her second record on social media, telling fans, "I was genuinely stuck at the mercy of other people before (for almost years at this point) … It has been genuine tasking on my soul & so frustrating."

Still, Ferreira restored our hope in December 2017 when she teased details of an upcoming visual EP. "It's an EP that is heavily visual, and the videos will all connect to each other in an abstract way", she toldThe Fader, adding, "It'll be starting to come out in February, or March, for sure."

It's November now… but we're praying our girl can pull through on her promise (!!)
