Following the snow that a lot of the Yakima Valley received Tuesday, a winter weather advisory is still in effect until noon Wednesday (Jan. 9). According to the National Weather Service, we can expect freezing rain, snow and sleet overnight tonight:

(Update: 1/8/19 6pm)"Snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain before 4am, then snow likely, possibly mixed with freezing rain and sleet. Patchy fog. Low around 30. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible."

Now, if the forecast is accurate, we can probably expect a pretty icy commute Wednesday morning in the Yakima Valley.  We'll have the latest on school delays starting at 5 a.m. during the Morning Bull-Pen, and we will update Facebook as often as possible. You can view the latest delays/closures here.
