You have probably driven past the Ahoy! Fish & Chips restaurant on Yakima Ave many times and never stopped by, but I am here to tell you, you are missing out if you don't stop by and eat here!

It's been a while since I've done a restaurant review, so here you go!

There we were yesterday walking along Yakima Avenue (near the YWCA). It was a lovely day (although very hot, it was reportedly 100 degrees outside) and I was happily playing Pokemon Go while my five-year old daughter, Willow, was learning how to ride her scooter.

I was looking out for all the Pokestops*, when lo and behold! I noticed that the Ahoy! Fish & Chips place had been remodeled.

"Hey, Willow, let's stop here and get some dinner to go!" I yelled.

My daughter was not amused. "I do not like fish," she retorted, huffing and puffing and scooting away from me as fast as she could on one of her little legs.

"They have hot dogs!" I reminded her.

"Mmm! I love hot dogs!" Willow replied, and she rode her scooter up to the front door.

The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! The cozy and small interior reminds me of a cute little "hole in the wall" restaurant, and I loved it!

I placed a to-go order for the 2-pc fish and chips for myself, and my daughter ordered one of the Nathan's hot dogs with ketchup and fries and a soda. Our order came out to around $13 bucks and it was worth every penny!
