Soulja Boy has been hit with two felony charges stemming from his December 2016 arrest for threatening people online.

TMZ reports that the Los Angeles County D.A. charged the Atlanta rhymer with possession of an assault weapon and felony possession of a firearm. The assault weapon charge is for the Mini Draco AR-15, which is illegal to own in the state of California.

Soulja was also charged with a misdemeanor for receiving stolen property. Apparently, one of the guns police found in the rapper’s house was reportedly stolen from a cop car.

The “Crank That” rapper was arrested last December at his home in Hollywood Hills, Calif., after police received a Crime Stoppers tip that Soulja was threatening people online with guns. The rap star was already on probation for another case from a couple of years back, and is not allowed to have guns in his possession.

There’s no word on how this will affect his upcoming boxing match with Chris Brown. Attorneys for Soulja Boy had no comment on the matter.

In the meantime, Soulja Boy is releasing a new video game app called Soulja Boy Boxing on Wednesday (Jan. 25). Props to Soulja for turning a petty social media beef into a business venture.
