The 'Star Wars: Episode 7' plot leaked online over the weekend, but if that wasn't enough of a 'Star Wars' reveal for you, we've got a little something else, direct from J.J. Abrams.

The 'Star Wars: Episode 7' director posted another video update from the set this morning, revealing a first look at the new X-Wing Starfighter (and a rogue droid) from the film. The video was part of the "Force for Change" campaign in support of the United Nations Children’s Fund’s (UNICEF) Innovation Labs and programs. Said Abrams:

As we close this final week, we’ve added an additional prize that allows the fans the opportunity to see the movie early as a thank you for supporting such a great cause as UNICEF’s innovative, lifesaving work for children.

So, in addition to the grand prize - which includes visiting the closed set of 'Star Wars: Episode 7' and making an appearance in the film - a new prize has been announced that includes a special, private screening of the film before it hits theaters. All you have to do is contribute here --> http://omaze.com/StarWars to be entered to win.

Now, as for that X-Wing... If it looks familiar, it's because we previously showed you some construction photos from the set, which included this ship being built. It also appears to be based on original 'Star Wars' concept art by Ralph McQuarrie for the original trilogy.

Some had speculated that this ship was actually the Z-95 Headhunter from the expanded universe, but the official 'Star Wars' Twitter confirmed this is an X-Wing.

When 'Star Wars: Episode 7' began filming, we had hoped that J.J. Abrams would keep us updated from the set, bucking his "mystery box" trend. It's a nice twist to see some of these bigger, official reveals be done in a way that also supports a really great charity. Here's hoping there's more of these in the future (maybe even our first look at the cast?).

'Star Wars: Episode 7' opens in theaters on December 18, 2015.
