TMZ caught up with T.I. to get his take on Roseanne Barr's racist tweets yesterday— you know, the ones where she said former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett was a spawn of the "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes."

After ABC pulled the plug on her recently rebooted show, Roseanne, Barr later went on Twitter to apologize and say that her tweets were fueled by Ambien. But T.I. isn't buying it. When asked whether Barr's Ambien excuse was valid, Tip just shook his head.

"No more than crack is for robbery," T.I. said. "If someone can go commit a robbery and say, 'man, I was high on crack that night.' If not, then you know, you're always gonna be held accountable for your actions."

Then he was asked about the Pusha T-Drake beef. After the reporter shows him the image of Drake wearing blackface, Tip just shakes his head again (the photographer and Lupe Fiasco have since chimed in with explanations for the image).

"It's great for hip-hop. There's gonna be winners and losers on both sides. Seems like collateral damage," he offers.
