Misty Copeland is a Black History Month legend. It took the American Ballet Theatre 75 whole a$$ years to finally appoint a Black principal ballerina. They got some real nerve. Better late than never, I guess.

Traditionally, Father's Day is kind of treated as a 'throwaway' holiday. It's a day where you honor your father for all he has done for you. This usually means he gets a new necktie and a homemade certificate for a free massage. But this year Father's Day fell on the same day as my daughter's ballet performance.
