In Aurora, Colorado, there has been a report of a shooting incident during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises at the city’s Century Theater

Aurora police say there are 12 fatalities and at least 20 others hurt with witnesses saying that a person wearing a gas mask might have also set off a smoke or tear gas bomb right in the middle of the film

In a video circulating the Internet this week, a man dressed as Batman engaged in what began as a bit of playful street theater with a non-costumed rival on the Vegas strip

But soon, faux-punches turned to real ones, and the two slugged it out in front of a crowd of onlookers. It didn't end well for Batman, who was ultimately body slammed and then hit with a barrage of blows as he lay helpless on the ground.

I think this will be very interesting from Director Chris Nolan..he'll be able to create his own bat-baddie without the constraint of the comic book fodder and such...should be a great way to end the series...
