Now the bitter wind is picking up with that freeze that pierces all the way through you, nothing better to warm you back up than some amazing soup. Although we don't have a place specifically for soup like the ones that exists in Tacoma we do have some pretty amazing places for soup in Yakima...

At any restaurant, if my meal comes with the soup or salad, I'm picking soup 100% of the time. Soup seems to be a side for so many restaurants when it has every right to be front and center on any table at any time of year. There are some spots for soup in Yakima and one places seems to stand out for amazing soup...

The other day I met up with a friend at a favorite spot in Yakima. My problem is if there are too many things on the menu I wonder about each and everything and, after too long, I just get something I often get like the chicken fried steak or some type of breakfast combo...

Why have I never thought of breakfast nachos until I saw this on the menu?

In our effort to get Baby Joel "Yaklimated" to the great locally-owned establishments we have in our area, I thought I'd take him to grab breakfast at a standard classic of Yakima: Powerhouse Grill.
