When it comes to grocery stores, many people have their preference. Some love certain ones for location or the service they get or the items they know where they are. Then there are some grocery stores that you never visit due to location from where you are, but when you do go it's like you're on vacation in a new area...

It's now a tourist attraction as well simply because it's a TJ's.

It has become one of the most requested businesses for Yakima. Anytime someone mentioned what stores or shops they'd love to see come to Yakima, every time there's a new business opening, so many wish for a Trader Joe's. Trader Joe's is great, sure, however Yakima already has so many great options for the same products.

There are several things I've seen people in the Valley do that in my opinion qualifies you as a basic Yakima B!

How to request a Trader Joe's in Yakima.

Whenever there's an option to bring in a new store or everyone in Yakima is playing the 'what store is going in that location,' one popular store that often comes up is Trader Joe's. Unfortunately, I'm here to tell you, it's not happening. Not within the next couple of years anyway.

There's been a lot of people in Yakima crying and lamenting over the fact that we don't have a Trader Joe's in Yakima. Maybe it's because I've never been to Trader Joe's so I didn't see the draw. I mean, we already have several other grocery store options, why need another? Well, after a recent visit to Trader Joe's, I get it. I really, really get it.
