Taste Testing ‘Toilet Candy’ from Japan [VIDEO]

When I was last in Seattle, I saw these creative, interactive candies that resembled a toilet. I had to check these out!

In Japan, there are a variety of candies that have an interactive element to them. Some feature nothing but powders and mixes where, when combined with water, makes an edible paste or cream that you can make to look like an ice cream cone, for instance. This one came with a plastic toilet you piece together. Sounds like fun!

Once the toilet is built, you add powder to the back, then add water and the candy is supposed to foam up. This trial run didn't foam up like it should have, but other attempts after filming did.

According to my daughter, it was yummy. I'm sure it tasted like any other sweet sugar water, but she seemed to have enjoyed it.

And, best of all, you get to keep the toilet afterwards.
