Terror on a Bright, Sunny Day: The Haunting Begins

Townsquare Media

Hauntings don’t usually start on warm August afternoons, but then again, what else do you think ghosts, demons and all those other scary dudes have to do all day, anyhow? It’s not like they need sleep or anything.

So that’s where this year’s Terror on the Ave begins. With the sun shining cheerily in a blue sky, workers began unloading the materials that will reanimate into the spookiest haunted house in the Yakima Valley by Oct. 3.

The haunt will be in the old Schultz Furniture store at 411 W. Yakima Ave. We’ll keep you posted on the progress.

Meantime, here’s a quick look around the place, which already feels a little … inhabited.
