About an hour before kickoff of Monday night's Sugar Bowl between No. 15 Texas and No. 5 Georgia, some brainiac had the idea to get a photo-op with the two school's live mascots.

What happened next could be the impetus of a new reality television show called "When Mascots Attack."

But Monday, Bevo, the Texas Longhorns steer, busted out of his enclosure to try and crush Uga, the Georgia Bulldog.

It proved to be a precursor to the game as the lower-seeded Longhorns did, indeed, hook the Dawgs, 28-21.
