Looking for a companion to greet you at the end of a tough day? Here are your best bets for pets, experts say:

1.)  Dogs -- Studies have found that petting dogs relieves stress.

2.)  Cats -- A study from the University of Minnesota said that people who have never owned a cat had a 40 percent greater risk of dying from a heart attack.

3.)  Fish -- Just watching them swim can relieve stress like hypnotherapy.

4.)  Horses -- You can get a good workout for certain muscle groups just by riding.
