The Diligence of Using Chopsticks

How long did it take you to try using chopsticks? It's not something many get on the first try, but it's something you want to experiment with as you see others using them.

My son tried to use chopsticks for, what I believe, is the first time. Unfortunately, it was a salad of all things and lettuce doesn't like to stay in one play for very long. Still, though, he kept at it.

After a while he did finally do what most do when they give up on chopsticks -- just stab the food straight through it and eat it, shishkabob style. Still, though, I'm glad he tried.

I remember not being very successful on my first attempts, either. It took me a while and, still, I don't use them properly, but they work for me so that's good enough.
