Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson proposed to Ciara, making the announcement official with a Twitter video today (March 11). And of course, with swiftness that only the Internet can provide, Future's loyal fanbase known as the Future Hive,  swooped into action, calling for the EVOL rapper to drop new music in light of the news.

Exes Future and Ciara have one of the most tumultuous relationships in hip-hop at the moment. The former fiancees dated in 2013, became engaged, had a baby together and subsequently split. Since 2013, Future's pain has worked in his favor in terms of rap with the Dirty Sprite-sipping MC dropping a slew of stellar mixtapes and albums, the most recent of which being EVOL in February. But, their messy breakup has been the subject of headlines ever since, with the "Body Party" singer suing the rap star for $15 million in child support and Future calling out CiCi for having "control problems" in return. Future has previously spoken on Ciara and Russell's relationship in his Fall 2015 XXL cover story, explaining, "I’m telling you right now, I’m giving you two sides. Like, I’m cool with it. I’m cool with him being around him but certain situations, we all in the public eye, you can’t move around with my son a certain kind of way, you know what I’m saying? I feel like a lot of moves are just made out of just being evil, basically."

Ciara's new engagement will surely warrant some type of response from the ATL rapper soon, whether verbal or musical. In the meantime, the Future Hive is doing it for him. And they are relentless! While Ciara fans are posting the wedding ring emoji under all of Future's IG pics, his fans are going in on Twitter with his signature Purple Reign umbrella emoji. That's right people, we've reached a new level of petty in hip-hop. Here's a round up of the funniest Future Hive reactions.
