The Mysterious Beehive That Grew When I Was Gone

When I was out for a week, I guess a bunch of bees took advantage of that opportunity to move in.

I love honey, but I already know some great places in the area to pick some up. As it turns out, people have told me I wouldn't honey in this hive but yellow jackets. Yikes!

Fortunately, I'm not allergic, but that doesn't mean I want to get stung any less. I'm not exactly sure how to take care of this other than 'throw something at it and hope for the best (probably not the best idea) so what would you suggest?

In the meantime, we have a mutual agreement. I leave them alone, they leave my family alone. If they break that trust then all bets are off.
