School is out for spring break and kids and parents are always looking for the great safe and fun places around Yakima...Let 107-3 KFFM help you out! I've compiled the Top 6 places for kids to hang out during spring break in Yakima... I'd love to know if you have places to add to the list ... any place that KFFM needs to add to the list? I'm a comic book nut as you know but I will leave off Ron's Coin and Book in Yakima, just because of that!

    Chesterly Skate Park in Yakima

    Chesterly Park at 40th and River Road is a great place to drop off the kids during spring break... they have six soccer fields,a skate park,play equipment,a picnic shelter,tables & grills and restrooms & parking.

    Franklin Park is located at 21st Avenue and Tieton Drive. Franklin Park is popular because it also features an outdoor swimming pool,tennis courts,play toys,picnic shelter,tables & grills and restrooms with plenty of parking.

It is Yakima Valley's only enclosed regional shopping center comprised of over 55 specialty stores & merchants and is anchored by Macy's and Sears...just remember to bring your credit card!

    A movie is a great place in the valley for kids to go...Yakima Theaters boast 3 locations in the kids a pepsi and popcorn and with a good movie, they'll be entertained for hours.

    Skateland in Union Gap

    Roller Skating is the best...good healthy exercise and kids can play and skate with other kids..Skateland is also great for birthday parties and such...making it a perfect safe and fun place for kids to spend spring break!

    Meadowbrook Family Fun Center

    This is the place to be on spring break! You have access to the batting cages, miniature golf and go-karts. You can also go inside and play the video games and get points and swag. A smart parent has the MFFC already on their radar but I know that Meadowbrook is a great place for kids on spring break!
