The Weeknd buries himself alive and guns down an eerie-looking old man in the Grant Singer-directed video for "Tell Your Friends."

Three days after the "Earned It" singer released an 18-minute sampler of his LP, Beauty Behind the Madness, he hits fans with another visual from the soon-to-be released album. "We are not the same I am too reckless," croons the Canadian native, donning all-black everything as he walks with a shovel toward a mound of dirt in a desert wasteland.

As he piles dirt over a body, viewers get a closer look to find out that it's actually the Weeknd himself wrapped in plastic -- and he's singing along to the lyrics as he's being buried alive. Then there's an old man -- nose ring and red hair included -- heading in his direction. Could it be a zombie? Abel Tesfaye shoots his shot and hits his target as the man falls to his death.

The guitar blazes at the end of the Kanye West co-produced beat as the Weeknd walks to a pricey black ride and drives off into the night. Looks like this video has more of a story to reveal, which could pick up in the next visual the singer releases.

Grant Singer also collaborated with the Weeknd on videos for "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills." The director also has Travi$ Scott's "Mamacita" and Vic Mensa's "U Mad" under his belt.

To catch the Weeknd up close, fans can check him out during The Madness Fall Tour, which launches in November. Beauty Behind the Madness arrives Aug. 28.
