Beyonce and Solange are two of music's closet siblings but according to mother Tina Knowles, she instilled their love for each other at an early age and got some help with counseling.

In a clip posted by TMZ, Knowles sat down to Maria Shriver to discuss the singer's upbringing and revealed how she had both of them in counseling at young ages. "I took them to counseling very early so that the counselor could help Beyonce be more sensitive to Solange," she said.

According to Knowles, Solange was only five years old at the time and Beyonce, was 10, but on the brink of stardom. While family thought Knowles would make her daughter's "crazy" with counseling at that age, she said it did the opposite. "It made [Beyonce] more sensitive and protective, and they're still fiercely protective of each other," Knowles said.

Bey and Solange continue to share a close bond and the singers even shared the stage during the 2018 Coachella music festival. During both weekends of Beyonce's headlining set, Solange joined her sister on stage to perform with her.

In related news, Beyonce's name was recently brought up in a report that accused Tidal of falsely inflating streaming numbers. According to Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv, Tidal generated more than 300 million fake streams for Kanye West's The Life of Pablo and Bey's Lemonade.
