**Used for more than 40 years, regulators and activists are stepping up their assault on glyphosate.

In California starting in July, manufacturers will be required to label Roundup and any other products with glyphosate as a product known to cause cancer. The same labels can be found on red wine, bacon and sunscreen in the state.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer, part of the World Health Organization, released their opinion in 2015 that glyphosate is a probable carcinogen based on past studies, not new research conducted by WHO.
