Valentine’s Day Scrounging For Last-Minute Gifts

Today is my daughter's Valentine's Day party at preschool. As her parent, I am supposed to provide 20 little cards to kids whose names I have yet to remember after several months.This makes me extremely grouchy, because I have waited until the very last minute to get everything together! I had picked out some cute heart-shaped boxes for 15 kids and had planned to run to the dollar store to get some candy to stuff in them. But when I looked at the paper the teacher sent home: It said there were TWENTY children... Lawd hamercy!
