Washington is the Seventh Happiest State in the Nation
Are you happy living in Washington state? I know I am, but how about you? Well if you are, you're not alone. According to a recent list by WalletHub, we came in seventh place. Not too shabby! Here's what made up the list.
Happiness in Washington (1=Best; 25=Avg.)
26th – Hedonometer Score
17th – Adequate-Sleep Rate
26th – Suicide Rate
15th – Long-Term Unemployment Rate
11th – Obesity Rate
7th – Volunteerism Rate
27th – Divorce Rate

Seems like Washington is pretty high on volunteers, fairly safe and more. Better than average on a few other subjects, too.
The happiest state? Utah. I'll be honest, though, I've been to Utah several times and I don't know why they're so happy. Maybe it's something in the water. I mean, I loved visiting Utah when I lived near that state, but maybe they know something I don't. That's gotta be OK.
I would've thought Hawaii would've been first, but it's third place. Oh well.
