I used to be a fan of jelly beans. Not to any great level, but thought it was fun when we had that candy store at the Yakima Mall to fill up with random flavors. I had a few favorites and, fortunately, one of my favorites was listed as Washington state's favorite on this list.

I was thinking it may be popular favorites like buttered popcorn or cotton candy. Turns out Washington loves juicy pear.

Juicy pear is also the sixth favorite in the United States. Our surrounding neighbors in Oregon love watermelon, Idaho digs orange and Montana goes with cotton candy. California and several others opt for licorice-flavored jelly beans. Licorice is one of those 'love it or hate it' flavors, but came in first place in the United States.
