Sometimes you have to make do with what you have. RoadSnacks recently came out with a list of the poorest cities in Washington state and four of those 10 are cities in the Yakima valley.

The list was determined by income level, unemployment and poverty level.

strong>Grandview, at number nine on the list, has a 15.3% unemployment rate.

Toppenish, right next door, was listed at number seven featuring a poverty level of 37.6%

Wapato came in at number three with a 17.1% unemployment rate.

If you're wondering, Moses Lake came in first place with a poverty level of 34.1%, unemployment at 17.4% while only having a population of just over 4,500.
