Jamie Foxx has kept pretty quiet about his relationship with Katie Holmes but that didn't stop ESPN's Michael Smith from asking about the actress.

While warming up for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on ESPN, Foxx was asked about recent photos of him and Holmes playing basketball that surfaced. "I know you've prepared and I saw pictures," Smith said. "Did you and Katie Holmes play basketball for Valentine's Day? Like some real Love & Basketball?"

Foxx was clearly not a fan of the question, immediately removing his headphones and exiting the shot. But while the actor obviously didn't want to offer an answer, he didn't appear too upset as he walked away with a smirk on his face.

The Foxx's abrupt exit left Smith confused and uncertain about what just happened. "Uh oh, did we lose him?" Smith asked before Foxx could be seen getting loose on the court. "Oh, he ready to go, he ready to hoop."

A rumored couple for years, Foxx and Holmes seemed to confirm their relationship in September when the two were spotted holding hands while strolling along the Malibu coastline. It was the first time the two had be seen together in an intimate capacity.

In 2016, Radar reported the actress had agreed to not publicly date anyone until five years after she and ex-husband Tom Cruise had officially divorced and ended their marriage.

“Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce,” a source for the site said.
