We’re One Month Away from Downtown Summer Nights

The sun is starting to shine harder, the birds are singing, I'm wearing my shorts and I'm ready for summer! One of my favorite things to do in Yakima is head to 4th street off of Yakima avenue where live music fills the streets with great people, great food and great drinks. I'm ready for Downtown Summer Nights.

Starting on Thursday, June 12th and going all the way through August 21st, everything Thursday through summer will feature live music from a different band each week. Best of all, it's free! All you have to do is show up and have a good time.

There are food vendors, fun activities for kids and a beer garden as well.

Often times there will be contests during the event, too, to score prizes just by being there.
