What is Monsanto and Why Should You Care?

You've probably been seeing a lot of Monsanto and protests against it, but who, or what, is Monsanto?

Monsanto is a company that's becoming known for genetically modifying seeds to produce more crops and resist insecticides and things of that nature. There are plenty of people who are against doing this as it's not organic and are stating there may be plenty of health hazards by eating genetically-altered food.

What's your opinion on this? Is eating food that's genetically altered just wrong or are you fine with science stepping up to produce more for less? Sound off in the comments.
