Yakima's Biggest Yard Sale is tomorrow, Saturday, May 12th at 8am at the Perry Technical Institute parking lot. $3 will get you in, or $2 with a non-perishable food item.

Like most yard sales you can find some amazing deals and some unique finds. Whether you're shopping for yourself, a new addition to your family or just trying to buy back your youth, there's something for everyone at Yakima's Biggest Yard Sale. To make sure you're prepared, here's a small list of stuff you should bring.

Water

With temperatures in the mid-70s and the fact that we're on pavement at Perry Tech's parking lot, it may heat up a bit more than we're used to so far this year. May be a good idea to bring a bottle of water, enough for everyone in your party.

Cash

You never know what you'll find, but if you see something that you don't want to slip through your fingers, you better have some cash to pick it up immediately. I would even go so far as to do the yard sale sellers a favor and bring lots of smaller bills so they're not breaking $20 bill after $20 bill. They'll appreciate you more, I'm sure.

Yakima's Biggest Yard Sale starts at 8am, but you can get in at 7:30am, half an hour earlier than everyone else by downloading and printing off this coupon here.

A Friend With A Truck

Again, you never know what you'll find. You don't want to find the deal of the century, like a dresser, bed, pinball machine, what-have-you and not have a way to get it back to your home. Not that you need to bring them with you, but perhaps to have on call just in case you find something and need the help loading it back home.

Non-Perishable Food

Every year, our yard sale also acts as a food drive for Northwest Harvest. Bringing in a can of food or something non-perishable will take $1 off your admission ($2 with, $3 without) but there's nothing stopping you from cleaning out your pantry and bringing in a bag of food or two. It will still only take $1 off your admission, but it's for a great cause.

I'm we're leaving anything out, please tell us in the comments below.
