Since the city of Yakima is in a buzz about the upcoming show featuring comedy legends George Lopez and DL Hughley, I have been paying attention to the stories about them in my Facebook news feed.

I scrolled upon this story about these two comedy bros getting matching tattoos to honor the memory of their friend and fellow and beloved comic, Charlie Murphy, who recently passed away from leukemia cancer. They decided on getting a tat of the word "Darkness", which was Charlie's nickname based after his appearance in a "Chappelle Show" sketch. Lopez and Hughley grew very close to Charlie Murphy and often went on comedy tours together.

Who knows, perhaps when George and DL come to Yakima, they might feel the urge to get a new set of matching tattoos to symbolize something else that is special.

I don't have any tattoos but for the past few years, I have been thinking about getting myself one. I still don't know what I want, but I did decide on either a song quote or a single word, in a cursive hand scripted font.
